I wasn’t going to say anything, but screw it. This is my account, and my voice. X is supposed to be the free speech platform. Instead, it’s become a rigged game where conservatives get hammered while the usual suspects run wild.
My wife just ate a ridiculous 6-day ban, the most clownish suspension I’ve seen in 15 years on social media. She’s so fed up she deleted the app. She’s one of thousands this happens to.
I reported a comment that called for someone to be shot and X came back and said it didn't violate their rules.
Are you f'n joking Elon?
And Brian Krassenstein can say and do whatever the hell he wants and keeps skating.
The double standard is glaring.
They do nothing about doxxing.
Nothing about coordinated harassment campaigns.
Liberals mass-block and mass-report conservative accounts and X shrugs.
Our reach tanks, our momentum dies, and the platform acts like it’s powerless.
But we all know it’s not powerless, it’s selective.
I used to love creating here.
Posting, engaging, building something real. Now? The joy is gone. The algorithm isn’t even the main problem today.
It’s the constant feeling that the house isn’t just tilted, it’s actively hostile to half the country that made its comeback possible.
Passion is dying.
Creativity is getting strangled.
This place used to feel alive.
I’m exhausted defending
@elonmusk
I’ve gone to bat for him more times than I can count. But when the platform that promised maximum truth-seeking and free speech lets this garbage continue, it gets harder every day.
The double standards, the weak enforcement, the selective blindness, it’s driving good people away.
Real users who built content, grew audiences, and actually believed in the mission. X is killing the very fire it claimed to protect.
If this keeps up, a lot more of us will walk. Not because we want to, but because what’s the point of pouring your heart into a platform that doesn’t have your back?
Fix it.
Before the exodus becomes a flood.
Before the “free speech” label becomes just another marketing lie.
We'll be watching.
