Big update on market structure: the Clarity Act stablecoin yield compromise text is now public. Passive yield on stablecoin balances = out. Activity-based rewards tied to real participation on crypto platforms and networks = still allowed. The text is the result of months of negotiations between the crypto and banking industries, facilitated by the White House and Senators Tillis & Alsobrooks. A Senate Banking Committee markup is now the next step to advance the bill. The crypto community including @standwithcrypto advocates contacted their senators hundreds of thousands of times over this, signing petitions, sending emails, and flooding Senate offices.
