Accountable NAV is now public.
We have been running verified NAV feeds with clients for a few weeks now. Today we're putting it in the open.
The reason verified NAV was needed comes down to one observation: NAV at most vault infrastructures is still self-reported by the manager.
What that looks like in practice:
- The same party trading the funds is the one publishing how those funds performed
- Updates land whenever the manager decides to release them
- Allocators end up with no independent reference for what the share is actually worth
This is especially important in DeFi, where pricing flows between protocols and any inaccuracy at the source compounds everywhere downstream.
It has been one of the longest-standing gaps in vaults, and one we kept seeing across the institutions we work with.
Accountable NAV is our answer to it.
Introducing Accountable NAV.
Today, we're launching an engine that verifies source data, independently computes Net Asset Value from underlying positions, and delivers it onchain.
