It was also very exciting to hear from @emsbourke about the new statewide strategy, including the Autism Lead Teacher positions commencing in primary schools next year. @FlindersEPSW

A central premise of Portuguese education policy is that it is not necessary to categorise in order to intervene. This is helping to foster positive attitudes to learner diversity. An important message here for policy makers in the UK and elsewhere.
