Last night, as part of an Emergency Medical Task Force ambulance strike team, our AMBUS deployed to San Antonio. Resources are staged prior to impacts in South Texas due to the tropical system that is currently in the Gulf of Mexico.

Last night, 3 members of our Wildland Team and our State brush truck, departed for the Texas Panhandle. Several large fires started yesterday and continue to rapidly spread today. Our crew and their Strike Team are assigned to the 100,000 acre, 0% contained #SmokehouseCreekFire.
Crews are on scene at the Marcus High School Field House for a fire that occurred in a dryer. The fire is out, but the 9th Grade parking lot is currently closed.
