Hawaii’s cost of living index is ~185 vs US average 100 — already 85% more expensive for decades due to shipping, land limits & isolation. Housing/groceries far higher structurally. This is NOT a sudden Trump-era change.
Trump says he "loves" inflation.
We can tell.
Since he took office, people in Hawaii are paying $872 MORE for housing, $310 MORE for groceries, and $263 MORE for gas.
$4,100 MORE because Trump prioritizes anything but lowering costs for Americans.

There are people of color who were terminated not because of the color of their skin but because they were appointed by Biden as chips on his DEI Bingo Card! I can think of three “white” people that fit that description too! That’s policy change.
But “Not since the 1800s assault on Black power”? No. That’s BS rhetoric.
There are no Jim Crow laws, lynchings, or disenfranchisement today. Black voting/representation remains strong.

Democrat led politics the sanctuary approach has cost NJ a lot of money. It is estimated that 892,000 illegal aliens took offer at a cost to the states taxpayers of $7.3 BILLION annual net fiscal burden - 2024 NJ Assembly Report, based on FAIR methodology methods.
That’s ~$2,100 per household or ~$1,600 per worker across the state with greatest cost shown in
Education (biggest share, including U.S.-born kids of illegal immigrants), healthcare, welfare/services, and justice costs.
Unfortunately taxes by the alien population do not offset the cost.
Now we understand why the riots in NJ over the Delaney Hall Detention Facility have made well funded and organized headlines for days.
Elections not only have cost consequences but their decisions put the citizens and police agencies at risk to clean-up their FUBAR choices.

CORRUPTION: Newsom handed an NGO connected to his wife a $12.5M no-bid diaper contract at 3-5X the Amazon price. He asked the legislature to skip competitive bidding. The safeguard exists to stop exactly this sort of corruption.
