Continuing this chain of thought … what if physical objects were programmable?
@FolkComputer already allows digital → physical, what if you could use computer vision to enable physical → digital?
e.g.
- teach the computer to do highlighting to find physical notes? ⌘ F IRL
ALT six pages of notes explaining how a messy desk could be augmented with Folk Computer to make it easy to do things like upload physical notes to the cloud but also perform programmatic operations like text highlighting on physical notes on a messy table
image if you had a stack of like 100 cheap IR-ink printed "blank pages", maybe on card stock so they don't get mixed up, and you could assign arbitrary dynamic media to each one
okay, okay, now imagine they react to their physical environment! and that you can program them :)
