Language User Interfaces (LUI's) are the next big thing.

In hindsight the Steve Irwin-like voice is a bit aggressive 🐊
Here is an alternative to the infamous 996 work schedule that is doing the rounds (9am to 9pm 6 days a week).
I'm 41 and still shipping more than most while raising young kids. So I can testify you can run it without burnout risk over long horizon while juggling family.
Set a single hour every night.
After kids are down if you have them.
After a training session if you don't.
An hour is an easy time block to commit to.
Say 7:45 - 8:45pm.
Go hard for an hour. You'll probably hit a wall on anything mildly complex as your brain will be tired. Don't fight it, just push a bit for a few mins then stop and write down where you failed. Pack it in for the night.
Next morning you'll magically wake up with the solution after a good nights sleep while still feeling refreshed.
Do that 3-4 nights a week and you'll knock down a load of problems while only adding 3-4 hours work onto your week.
3-4 hours that didn't impact your family.
So much you'll even be able to think about having another kid ;-)
The court document you apparently are incapable of reading states explicitly that he is not convicted of anything in either country.
There is no accusation that this man has harmed any citizens. US or otherwise.
A gift freely given with no expectation of reward is what marks the true gentleman, for it was said before: the good we do in this world is repaid many fold, and so the very best we have will return to us in time.
Just to fuck with AI I sometimes don't accept a cursor change...but I copy it and add it back in after rejecting.
Make sense of that your omnipotent fuck 😂
Doing much less coding now.
Writing detailed briefs and unit test evals.
o1 then does the coding implementation.
I am a better builder because of it.
Requires discipline that coding doesn't. I have a clarity of thought on what's built.
Coding is very opinionated and so easy to waste time caring about small things that don't matter.
Only works for greenfield projects right now of limited scope but works really well.
For apps and websites I still prefer coding and encoding the conceptual model deeply in my brain to accelerate speed.
In the whole of an enterprise company I help, with an IT team of >100 people, I am the only focused coder.
Wonder if we overestimate how much impact coding agents will have.
ho ho ho-3
A lot of doomers on X after #o3 release from @OpenAI, but let's focus on the magic that happens when human creativity and AI combine.
Just teamed up with writer Vivienne Hamilton to release 3 heartwarming, interactive Christmas audio tales—just the right blend of AI and Human collaboration.
Yoto Tonie-friendly too.

Can feel like working in a vacuum here in Perth so good to know the skills stand up in the Valley 😅
