I’ll always laugh that we only got 24 games of Sorber. Such a good player
OKC salary dumps Isaiah Hartenstein to the Chicago Bulls for a future 1st to lower their luxury tax bill. NBA fans celebrate. Then they introduce to the rotation… Thomas Sorber. 🙃

I think Iwuchukwu not being included (total of 117 players) is HARSH Likely 7-0 with 7-3 wingspan Had Rim D% < 53% in all 4 season of NCAA hoops 3 NCAA Players with: - DRtg < 100 - OR% 10 - BLCK% 4 - Usage 20 - 75 FT% - 33 3PT% Morez Johnson Allen Graves ➡️ Iwuchukwu

Another Cooley fit. Real promising as a rebounder and interior scorer Hopefully build a roster that mitigates a need for him to be a spacer or a rim protector Hoping for the “Leaving FAU” jump from last year (Carroll, Matas, Baba)
NEWS: Florida Atlantic transfer Josiah Parker has committed to Georgetown, he told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-7 wing was named the AAC Freshman of the Year this season with averages 9.6PPG, 6.0RPG and 1.2APG.

Interesting one On one hand, 14% block rate, 10 % rebound guy on both ends who has some skill and can make free throws ABSOLUTELY doesn’t grow on trees But he needs 10-15 pounds to really be a plus Big East player Again, we’ve got a lot of gambles but this is the right type
NEWS: College of Charleston transfer Chol Machot has committed to Georgetown, source told @LeagueRDY. The 7-foot big man spent one season at Charleston and averaged 8.9PPG, 5.5RPG and 2.5BPG. Was named the Defensive Player of the Year in the CAA this season.

We don’t live in a fun timeline but we for sure live in the funniest one
NEWS: Georgetown transfer guard Malik Mack has committed to Providence, a source told @On3. The 6-2 junior averaged 13.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game this season. on3.com/transfer-portal/wire…

In a past era, Cooley maybe gets to see through the vision of an upper class Sorber, Fielder, and a Halaifonua frontcourt - which would’ve been one of the sport’s best Happy for Drew. Took advantage at Boise and now gets a crack at the highest level
BREAKING: Boise State transfer forward Drew Fielder has committed to Alabama, @JoeTipton reports. on3.com/college/alabama-crim…

I’m intrigued here. Cooley was effusive in his praise for Maclin each time the Hoyas played DePaul. Tough as nails
NEWS: DePaul guard Brandon Maclin is entering the transfer portal, source told @LeagueRDY. Maclin began his career playing two seasons at the JUCO level before playing the last two at Radford and DePaul. He will likely need a waiver to play next season. He averaged 10.5PPG, 4.5RPG, 2.8APG and 1.3SPG in 2025-26.

The number on Julius is wild and he should go. He’s right to. But hard not to feel apathetic. Think my takeaway from this landscape is that if Georgetown has good players, we’re probably not going to be able to keep them Total L. I really don’t know how they recover roster wise

In the end, the Georgetown Hoyas were not rich as shit
Georgetown center Julius Halaifonua has entered the transfer portal, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @CBSSports. The 7-foot, 260-pounder is a former top 60 overall recruit who posted averages of 9.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this past season.

Have to say I’m a fan of this as well Right type of talent gamble. Has the burst/toughness of a Cooley guard If u want to convince yourself he unlocks something in a bigger role, he’s played 25 minutes in 13 games (11 vs P5 teams) - 10.6 ppg - 46.7% FG - Kansas: 11-2 record
NEWS: Kansas transfer guard Elmarko Jackson has committed to Georgetown, he told @On3. The 6-3 sophomore is a former top-25 recruit. on3.com/news/former-kansas-p…

And yup … he didn’t get past the best staff in America
Don’t think there’s a competent staff in America that isn’t interested in Hines In his minutes, Seton Hall had a: - 93.2 DRtg (equiv to 8th in NCAA) - 48.6% rim D (3rd in NCAA) He was also THE upper right data point in high major basketball on OREB% vs BLOCK% graph ⬇️

Felt like you had to build the roster in the next few weeks without consideration of Constanza because of how much you need to win next year I would’ve been more cool w AC if the year with Boyle went great. It didn’t Fact of the matter is you have to get bigger, tougher, older

Think it’s the right move for both parties. Constanza should find a place that either (a) wants to let him rock offensively or (b) has a staff that can afford to develop a guy for a year

BOOM. Lowe doesn’t come without his concerns (he’s small, inefficient, and there are health concerns) but this is the type of talent you have to gamble on 3 seasons as a pick and roll passer: - 25-26: 1.32 PPP - 24-25: 1.22 - 23-24: 1.17 All-ACC in 24-25 when last healthy
NEWS: Jaland Lowe will transfer to Georgetown , he tells @TheAthleticCBB In 9 games played he averaged 8.0 points, 2.1 rebounds & 2.4 assists per game at Kentucky In 2024-25 at Pittsburgh he made the All-ACC third team with averages of 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds & 5.5 assists per game

Most exciting thing for me is what a true pick and roll artist can do for Julius, who’s 1.40 PPP as a roller this year was in the 99th percentile. Get some shooting around those two and you’ll have something on offense

Today’s the day I’m done making fun of Providence. Pate and Byrd Serious operation w a serious coach and more importantly a serious investment by donors and the school’s revenue share I’m jealous

There are no bad contracts. Only bad rosters. Many could learn from the aggressiveness of X here. Found a guy they liked it. Paid him above market value. And got him. At the end of the day - these are all gambles. But it’s an arms race. Have to be willing to spend uncomfortably

Xavier has signed LSU forward transfer Mike Nwoko, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @CBSSports. The 6-10, 260-pounder posted averages of 13.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this past season. Began his career at Miami and Mississippi State before transferring to LSU.
