The reality is that, with the scale of debt now understood, the takeover simply cannot be completed in a way that is realistic, responsible or sustainable. That means our attempt to save Manchester 62 FC is now over. This is not the outcome we wanted. We came into this because we believed the club deserved a future. We knew there would be debt. We knew there would be challenges. But the position has become far more difficult than originally understood, and it would not be right to continue asking people for support when we no longer believe the takeover can be completed. Everyone who donated through the GoFundMe will be refunded. We want to say a genuine thank you to every single person who donated, shared, tagged people, messaged us, offered advice, made introductions or simply took the time to care.
