FSN: Last year on @3rdandLonghorn, you had talked about the opportunity for there to be a rankings platform for high school athletes in rowing, and how there’s not one currently, but if there was one in the future it’d be great. From a Head Coach perspective, you obviously have a Staff that’s responsible for recruiting individuals like Nick Baker, to be able to search for the top American athletes even better, what would that mean to you as a Head Coach? Dave O’Neill: “Having a database would be great. Anything to make recruiting easier would be fantastic. Anything to help build notoriety... Anything to help promote [athletes]. Everybody loves to share a ranking… to help promote the discussion is a good thing. Good for you [FSN (@ForStarsPreps)] for noticing that Maddie Glover’s coming here and that she’s one of the top recruits in the country, that goes a long way.”

FSN: Speaking about some American Athletes, No. 4-Ranked, Madeline Glover, out of Oklahoma City, OK — Can you speak a little more about her and what you noticed about her in the recruitment process? Dave O’Neill: “Maddie Glover is a little bit undersized, but she’s a killer. She’s had some great success making the @TeamUSA Junior National Team last year, and having her have some good success was terrific and we’re really looking forward to having her come on down. She’s going to play a big part. We’re recruiting kids from all over the world, and Maddie Glover is right there with all of them. She’s going to play a huge role with the team in the year’s ahead.”
