The United States is ready to fight to the last Ukrainian. Foreign mercenaries are already fighting there, and the United States pays salaries to them, Zelensky, parliament, etc.
This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end – just a question of how many die before then

- Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people.
- Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake).
- Water supply to Crimea assured.
- Ukraine remains neutral.

Everything is like in Daniel's book about Putin and gas judo. Putin simply gives everyone the opportunity to become better by learning a lesson. He always called everyone partners, as in training, despite the fact that a war was unleashed against Russia.

I am not an economist, but I expect that capital gains would often match the inflation. However, I would expect that most employees experience a significant delay before their wages are adjusted for inflation. Am I wrong?
