Capitalism's New Year's Gift: 2023 will see at least 1/3 of the world economy in recession (on top of continuing inflations, rising interest rates and war in Ukraine). Capitalism: the gift that keeps on giving. bit.ly/3GxkqMe

The United States is ready to fight to the last Ukrainian. Foreign mercenaries are already fighting there, and the United States pays salaries to them, Zelensky, parliament, etc.

This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end – just a question of how many die before then

Unfortunately, it is necessary to start by reducing US Department of Defense spending on LNG promotion starting in 2016. But this financial dependence is difficult to refuse.

Ukraine-Russia Peace: - Redo elections of annexed regions under UN supervision. Russia leaves if that is will of the people. - Crimea formally part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 (until Khrushchev’s mistake). - Water supply to Crimea assured. - Ukraine remains neutral.

Everything is like in Daniel's book about Putin and gas judo. Putin simply gives everyone the opportunity to become better by learning a lesson. He always called everyone partners, as in training, despite the fact that a war was unleashed against Russia.
“Winter is coming” and Putin is counting on it. Russian pipeline gas shipments to EU are⬇️70%. The race to secure supplies ahead of colder months is on. Today's @WSJ: @MStoppard and I on how energy has become Putin’s 2nd front in the battle for #Ukraine. wsj.com/articles/winter-in-e…

As if he is not aware of the 20 million Russians who died in World War II because of Nazi Germany.
Mr. Putin seriously comparing himself to Peter the Great. Tens of thousands have to pay with their lives for the megalomaniac dreams of a renewed Russian Empire in Europe. 🇬🇧 & 🇩🇪 have to be prepared for a longer term conflict. news.sky.com/video/ukraine-w…

The publications of Z.Bjezinsky and D.Yargin talk about completely different reasons. Putin, like Hercules, has to clean the stables. Unfortunately, he had to follow Confucius' advice and use force. All Biden family investments have been worthless. His risk.
Putin seems to have recognized that he made a terrible mistake when he invaded Ukraine. He also seems to know how weak his position is, which could make him an even bigger threat to open societies. Read my remarks from @Davos: bit.ly/3aldhRH

I am not an economist, but I expect that capital gains would often match the inflation. However, I would expect that most employees experience a significant delay before their wages are adjusted for inflation. Am I wrong?

In a historical perspective, everything looks different: Musk launched the Martian program with a mouse click (after all, no one believes he understands rocket fuel), and Putin finally slammed the toilet lid shut.

The current Russian maritime activity is taking place in international waters well outside the U.S. territorial sea. We have not received any requests for assistance from the Russian Navy or other mariners in the area.

That's right. Why ask an illiterate dummy who, in principle, knows neither the history of finance nor the work experience? Zbigniew Brzezinski is a famous political scientist and ideologist of all transformations.
Just open the corresponding page at Zbigniew Brzezinski. This man really knew something about the balance of power.
