ForecastEx is temporarily expanding its trading hours to include two additional weekend sessions. The additional trading hours will run from:
Fridays - 4:15 PM CT to 9:30 PM CT
Sundays – 7:00 AM CT to 4:00 PM CT
These expanded hours will run for two weeks, with the first such session taking place today and the last such session on Sunday November 3, 2024.

ForecastEx returns 100% of the income it earns on the cash our Members deposit with us to secure contract performance back to those Members as incentive coupons. Members, in turn, can pass on a portion of that to their clients and Interactive Brokers is offering a coupon rate of 4.33%. That's income earned not only on cash deposits but also the market value of Forecast Contracts.

Given the interest in our election contracts, we will be extending our hours of operation on a temporary basis starting October 11, 2024 through November 3, 2024.
This extension will involve adding Friday evening and Sunday daytime trading sessions and will result in the trading schedule outlined below.

Today's activity on ForecastEx saw 59.8% of the transactions and 96.1% of the pairings were customers v customers. No specialist, member, market-maker or local intervened. No premiums were paid. No discounts were ceded.
