When I started developing my own tabletop RPG system, INFINITALE, I looked to aspects of RPGs across all media that I really enjoyed. I discovered that I loved the "Loot Chase" aspect of MMORPGs (World of Warcraft) and ARPGs (Diablo). When I created the equipment system of INFINITALE, I incorporated elements that foster the exhilaration of acquiring gear and hunting for those new weapons & armor throughout the adventure. I've attached images below of my latest design for the weapon cards used in my INFINITALE fantasy role-playing game system. They all represent variations of a single weapon -- the Aelvar "weiryn" (or just "blade", in the Aelvar language). Since INFINITALE departs greatly from the more popular TTRPG systems, I think this little 35 year old passion project of mine just may find an audience with these system additions.
