7 steps to adopting a Proper Human Diet 1. stop all added sugar & most natural sugars 2. stop all grains & beans 3. stop all veg. seed oils 4. fill at least half of plate with meat, seafood, eggs 5. eat until full 6. stop snacking between meals 7. avoid buying food with more than 5 ingredients. 10 years ago, my diet was horrible! 🍕🍫 Now I can’t imagine eating so poorly. 🥗 It took me quite a while to get to a balanced, healthy diet. There were a lot of steps forward and backward—times when I lost control and went full sugar-addict mode, and other times when I tried strict keto or cut calories way too fast. 🌪️ It was a rollercoaster of ups and downs. But when you zoom out, there was steady progress overall. Keep that in mind on your own journey. It won’t be as smooth as you might wish, but it’s worth the effort. 💪 Every step, every slip-up, teaches you something new and gets you closer to a healthier life. "You can’t out-exercise a bad diet." – Dr. Mark Hyman, a physician and advocate of functional medicine. It's true... I've tried that and saw zero results. I'm a cyclist. Some of my bike rides take up to 5 hours. I have a heart rate monitor that estimates my calorie usage. I often see 2000 - 3000 kcal burned on a single ride. And even with that intense training, I couldn't lose weight. Now I'm on a low-carb, high-fat, and high-protein diet. A lot of meat and low-carb veggies. My belly is gone. And I didn't even have to do intense training. DIET is the most important thing. After that comes physical activity.
