I lost betting on 2nd half overs in the CLE-NY game last night. Kalshi argued that 2nd half only includes regulation time, even though their full rules state overtime points are included unless explicitly excluded, and every sportsbook I know includes OT in 2H lines. Seem fair?

This one got me too, a full reading of the rules seems very solid that 2H includes overtime per contract and NBA's official rules. Market obviously was confusing to people so it sucks to see losses but really feel like the that should be asking for a refund shouldn't be the ones that read the contract vs the market maker who didn't and got paid out fully😢

Super fun market on Trump's address. Ended up $8k across both markets. I feel like I handicapped it well, just didn't size up enough, especially on the on the cheap yesses I really liked like "Moon" and "BHO" Also, over 18m volume. Insane..

Kalshi conference was awesome. Very fun meeting a bunch of super smart trad fi people, super smart traders, and others like @PredMTrader Also got 1st place in the conference trading leaderboard, pretty cool

Of all the Poly announcements today, this one makes me feel the best. If you're gonna trade a platform, you should trust that the platform will take responsibility when an issue on their end causes losses to users. For those who weren't aware, a few months ago @RookeBrollins lost ~50k due to a UI bug on Poly, and is now getting a refund. Kalshi has been great in this regard in my experience, often refunding losses that are their fault from bugs, outages, and poor rules. Sweet to see the same happening on poly nowadays :)

You can watch every Trump speech for a whole year and still just constantly be surprised by the shit he says lmao
