@toys_ndjebela The article says that opposition to the project has been 'sporadic' and based on 'perceived environmental concerns' while there has been constant community resistance ignored by the @namibiansun and the environmental and social concerns have been well documented.

@toys_ndjebela was recently brought before the media ombudsman when @namibiansun ran full-page ads disguised as news claiming the project had full support of locals. He blamed it, implausibly, on a mistake by a junior copy editor.
