Thought I'd share an old Italian recipe that my nonnas made and their mothers before them. We've had company from Australia for the past 3-4 weeks, and they fell in love with the recipe. I don't use all of the ingredients listed in the following recipe, but I always use chicken stock, cannellini beans, escarole, parmesan, and sometimes, shredded chicken thighs.
