Plastic toys in β€œbreakfast cereal” boxes definitely used to be a thing. This little hockey player is from Kelloggs circa mid-1950’s. Not sure how many there were in the set but this guy is #8. Fraser River, Richmond, BC πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Nope, not the Fraser River Junkyard. Found this old dumping site on Vancouver Island. It’s also within’ an erosion zone and at the mercy of every high-tide. Unfortunately, plastic like this doesn’t stay buoyant for long and will create deadzones when they sink. PollutionπŸ’€πŸŸ
