The AG can subpoena and fine anyone, in any state, $1,000 per “incident." As the WSJ notes, that adds up fast on mass mailings — the point is to make us stop, or bankrupt us if we don’t.
The Journal calls it what it is: a Union Protection Act.
It chills free speech. It denies public employees — whose salaries taxpayers fund — basic information about their rights. And it rewards union bosses who have spent decades growing fat and unaccountable on forced dues.
