Per the UN, the entire world's topsoil (what we need to grow our food) will succumb to desertification in 60 years. 2. The NAZIs are responsible for modern agriculture because they invented pesticides to artificially increase food production but destroy the soil in the process. After WWII, the US hired Nazi scientists to repackage their chemicals as RoundUp and DDT. These chemicals are not just killing the microbes in our soil but the microbes in our BODIES, leading to the increased rates of cancer. 3. American farmers do NOT understand soil science or why tilling the land is BAD. We learned nothing from the Dust Bowl and have abandoned Indigenous practices too. We also separated animals from the land which has led to the soil dying. 4. The soil desertification is why the planet is warming because DUST cannot absorb CO2 properly so its being reflected back in the atmosphere. 5. France is leading the charge in making sure the soil environment can absorb as much carbon as possible. 6. It's not too late.
