North Carolina is currently under a state of emergency to respond to Covid-19 (Coronavirus). Meetup meetings will be virtual until the state of emergency passes. Remember that limiting exposure helps us overcome this together!

To be clear, it's not that NC is more affected than other areas, but rather that we are trying to be a little more cautious and preventative.

If you want to help F# spread, there is probably no simpler thing to do than to go augment the .NET documentation pages at Microsoft. They are nearly always editable via a simple click-and-submit PR. x.com/0xaryan/status/1223345… (Cc myself and/or @_cartermp on your PR if you wish)

Just updated the vscode docs for dotnet and added #fsharp to it, because dotnet isn't C#, nor any other specific language. code.visualstudio.com/docs/l…

It's #GivingTuesday! If you can, help us support F# meetups and events worldwide (and more...), with a donation (fsharp.nationbuilder.com/don…), or by becoming a sustaining member (foundation.fsharp.org/join)! #fsharp

It's #GivingTuesday! How about helping support your favorite language, F#, either with a generous donation (fsharp.nationbuilder.com/don…), or by becoming a sustaining member for as little as $10 a month (foundation.fsharp.org/join)? #fsharp

Hey everyone, I just wanted to do a little winter fundraising for the non-profit known as the F# foundation. You can become a sustaining member for as little as $10 a month. The F# Foundation played an integral role in making Southern Fried F# Possible. fsharp.nationbuilder.com/don…

Oh and if you become a new sustaining member (or have been all along) please brag about it as a reply.

Open F# was amazing!! It is run by some of the kindest people I have ever met. We will always try to schedule Southern Fried F# so that people will have the opportunity to attend both. Thank you @openfsharp for another truly awesome event with fantastic people.

Hey #fsharp friends, we need your help to restructure the tests in the F# compiler code base. Let's try to do crowdsourcing here. I prepared a PR which shows the technique and I offer my help to get your PRs in. See github.com/dotnet/fsharp/pul… for details. #upforgrabs

#fsharp nation - would anyone like to take a crack at implementing efficient symmetric diff functions on Set and Map? These will come in handy for incremental model diff'ing in Fable and Fabulous. github.com/fsharp/fslang-sug… (maybe re-implement existing set comparison too)
