I hear some people complain about how toxic X is. That does not have to be true at all. 1. You can train the algorithm to bring very little toxicity your way. I have done this. 2. You don’t have to use the algorithm. You can still look only at accounts that you follow. Don’t follow toxic accounts. 3. You can simply pay attention to lists of specific accounts on specific topics. Make lists of non-toxic account accounts.

NY sports radio says it was Brunson who instigated the whole shove from Wembanyama b/c he was tugging on Vic's jersey the whole time #nba #porvida #sanantonio

As an annual passholder at @UniversalORL for many years, it is sad to see the decline of service. My family and I have eaten that Mythos for 14 years. Lower quality, higher prices. And now they stopped their bread service and they’re charging $15 for it before the meal. 😕

Exactly. People have kept going with this "Wemby really hates Chet!" thing ... and it's always been off base. He was annoyed that they kept getting mentioned in the same sentence.
Jeff McDonald (@JMcDonald_SAEN) on Wembanyama’s beef with Chet: “His first couple of years, people kept asking him about facing Chet when they play Oklahoma City and his rivalry with Chet. And you know, one was the number 1 pick in the draft and one was number 2 in back to back years. They’re kinda similar players - tall, skilled.. Like I understand people asking the question, but Victor did not understand why people were asking the question. ‘Like you’re comparing me with this guy? I’m on the SGA level, I’m in the MVP conversation. I don’t really even think about this guy.’ So I think it’s just those questions every time they played Oklahoma City early in his career where it’s sort of like: ‘OK, I gotta go annihilate this guy so people stop asking me about him.” #GoSpursGo #PorVida

The true MVP
I think this is quietly the moment that changed the NBA. SGA, the MVP, had an open lane with the season on the line. Wemby stepped up out of nowhere. Shai, like any superstar, would usually explode to the rim for the foul and one. Instead, he frantically threw it away and almost turned it over. It just showed the power of Wemby, that his presence will make MVPs bend to him when it’s all on the line. It was the ultimate statement that his presence is the most powerful thing in basketball.

For those saying that the Thunder would have won game 7, and therefore the series, if not for the injuries … it’s not that simple. If the Spurs had not been without Fox and Harper in game 2, there’s a chance SA wins both games in OKC and closes out the series 6 games.

In NBA history, only once has a player had: 150 points 75 rebounds 50 FT made 15 threes made 15 blocks 10 steals ...over any 7-game span, regular season or playoffs. That one instance was Victor Wembanyama in the Western Conference Finals to oust the defending champs.

I can't believe people are debating 5 Jordans or 5 LeBrons vs 5 Wembys. There's zero question how that would turn out. You can't score on 5 freak athletes with 10-feet wingspans. It would take a ballistic missile to penetrate that defense.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this season: 31.1 PPG in the regular season 24.3 PPG in the Conference Finals The biggest scoring falloff by an MVP guard from the regular season to the Conference Finals EVER.

Please God let him stay healthy. It’s gonna get spooky the next decade. He ain’t even close to his scoring prime yet
Victor Wembanyama now has the most points by a center in their first playoff run in NBA history.
