The first person ever executed for treason in the “United States” was put to death for freeing enslaved people. Let that sink in.

Every Cincinnati news outlet except 9 that covered the @CampaignZero report (Enquirer, 5, 12, 19, WVXU) has "alleges racial bias" in the headline. There are no allegations in the report. It's a factual and robust finding of a racial disparity in policing. No fingers are pointed.

Comes 5 and FOP head Ken Kober like Leeroy Jenkins with the least factual report so far. Kober admits he still hasn't read the report. Lies about Iris Roley while pretending to take her side. @CampaignZero is not a signatory to the Collaborative Agreement. wlwt.com/article/city-leader…

On this day in 1967, the Cincinnati’s Avondale uprising became part of the “Long Hot Summer” of urban protests following long-standing complaints over police practices, housing discrimination, and economic inequality in Cincinnati’s Avondale neighborhood.

The word that the Cincinnati Police Procedure Manual—which is "binding directive" (10.000)—uses for contact cards is not "enter", "fill out", or "submit", but "complete". Will Chief Hennie discipline officers who submitted incomplete contact cards? public.powerdms.com/Cin3647/…

"Whether one agrees with every aspect of the report's methodology or not, the disparities identified cannot simply be dismissed," said David Whitehead, president of the Cincinnati NAACP, said in a joint statement [with the Holloman Center for Social Justice].

“It’s very concerning,” said State Rep. Cecil Thomas, (D-Cincinnati). “If the data is saying that, then we’ve got a problem that needs to be addressed.”

25 years after @CityOfCincy settled a lawsuit over racial bias by @CincyPD, a new report shows little has changed. Blacks still more likely to be pulled over and arrested. The report alleges the whiter the neighborhood, the wider the gap. campaignzero.org/research/co…

Pasadena Officer Shot by Fellow Officer During "Horseplay," Chief Says PASADENA, Calif. — The Pasadena Police Department has released a Critical Incident Video concerning an officer-involved shooting that occurred on September 7, 2025, inside the department's parking structure at 240 Ramona Street in Pasadena. The incident resulted in injuries to one Pasadena police officer, who has since recovered. Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris said the incident involved "unsafe, out-of-policy horseplay involving loaded firearms" between department personnel. Chief Harris stated that one officer was wounded as a result of the shooting and emphasized that the conduct depicted in the video did not reflect the department's standards or expectations. The injured officer was transported for medical treatment and has since recovered from the injuries sustained during the incident. Pasadena police have not publicly identified the officers involved, and no members of the public were injured. The case remains under investigation and review by the Pasadena Police Department and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Replying to @CampaignZero
@CampaignZero released a report to the public showing major racial disparities in officer-initiated stops. The report was made using contact cards- that is self reported data by police. @AftabPureval says he is frustrated that the “City was prevented from engaging on the study”
