The fishing stock in the waters of South Korean, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan & Malaysia in China neighbourhood, has drastically reduced. Chinese distant water fishing fleets are now posing survival threats to the small fishermen in the distant waters off Africa, Middle East, and South America. In South America, countries like Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, Chile etc are facing imminent environmental & food crisis due to China's illegal unreported and unregulated fishing.
