There is a lot of truth to this. The advances in sequencing throughput continue. The one exception might be 3D genomics. 100x coverage of the human 3D genome at nucleosome resolution would require 10^16-17 reads: nature.com/articles/s41588-0…

Our new preprint is out!
We combined single-nucleosome imaging and 3D-SIM to reveal:
🔹 Euchromatin forms condensed domains, not open fibers
🔹Cohesin loss increases nucleosome mobility without decompaction
🔹Cohesin prevents neighboring domain mixing
