Economy Minister Dr @CArchibald_SF has congratulated local winners competing at this year’s @worldskillsuk finals.
The Minister said: “It is fantastic to see our local competitors once again do so well at the WorldSkills National Finals, with 21 achieving medals and highly commended placings. To reach this stage of the competition, they are all winners in my eyes.
"Their achievements are testament to hard work and the high quality training they receive at our local further education colleges and private training providers.”

The Minister said: “It was great to be here today and join with students receiving their results. This is such an important time for our young people and it’s vitally important that they know that advice is available to help them to take the next step in their career journey. Whatever your results, I want to reassure students and their parents or carers that my department’s Careers Service is here to help.”
