Many of our staff/volunteers don't get to spend Christmas Day with their families and friends - they're too busy saving lives and making sure the rest of us can have a wonderful Christmas. Today, we wish them and all our communities across the North West, a very merry Christmas.

Fortunately the police were already on the scene and arrested the patient, who has since been convicted and ordered to pay the paramedic compensation.
In the last year, there were 561 reports of physical assault on ambulance crews.
