As of passing my viva this morning that’s me #PhDone 🎉 I think little Georgia would be quite happy with current Georgia. She was wrong about the marine part but pretty close 🐠 Thanks to my wonderful examiners @_EmCunningham_ @SteigerLab for an interesting discussion 🪲

This #MothersDay, we want to give a shout out to all the incredible Burying beetle mums out there, working hard to protect and rear their offspring. From preparing the carcass, to regurgitating pre-digested flesh to the larvae - they are exceptional parents! ☺️ 📷 @TomRatz01

Such a fun first plenary at #ASABwinter2023 🦧🦍 Love the idea of inviting local schools to come to an outreach lecture! Other conference organisers take notes 👩‍🏫 @asab_conference @asab_tweets @ASABeducation
The first plenary at #ASABwinter2023 by @ForresterGilly is looking at the connection b/w the syntax of langauge & physical problem solving, and just as importantly making us all fall in love with Tibs, Kayan & Tuili 🦍🦧

A weirdly satisfying time lapse of burying beetle egg laying from a project I am working on 🥚⏱️ You can see the whole process from preparing the mouse, laying the eggs, the eggs hatching and the lavae emerging 🪲
