ALT SIYA a Youth led CBO was founded by Wellington Bakaimani in 2013 as an integrated youth club and was registered in 2016 under the Zimbabwe Youth Council and as a Trust. Siya was created with the goal to develop well informed and empowered youth who will improve their lives and communities through effective engagement in development and health programs. SIYA advocates for the participation and involvement of you in development issues.

ALT In an attempt to fulfill their goals SIYA managed to start a Digital Hub initiative aimed at equiping young people with basic computer skills. This project has 300 youth beneficiary which are working in groups of 100s. Moreso SIYA has an operational village studio where youth can come and record music for free. Young people come through to nature their talents in a friendly nd supportive environment.

ALT Through their project Rural Young women Action , SIYA has managed to equip young with information on Child marriages and Sexual Gender Based Violence. In support of this program SIYA begun an onsight Sewing Project (shown above) where youth and young women are taught sewing. Through this ongoing project the Organisation managed to donate 100 school uniforms to a communal primary school, proving that this project is a success and has not only been beneficial to participants but also the community at large

ALT Because SIYA is a rootbased organization, it's operations are ongoing. Therefore to help themselves stay afloat and operational in seasons when they do not have funding , SIYA came up with this Gazebo income generating project. Though it does not bring much this Gazebo which is rented out for activities has been one of the major means of sustainance for the CBO when funding is limited or nonexistent.
