The Maharashtra government has proposed a new draft law called the Maharashtra Devasthan Inam Abolition Draft Act, 2026, under which tenants, occupants and leaseholders living or operating on temple-owned lands may receive full ownership rights. If implemented, the law would end the ownership rights of temples and religious institutions over lands occupied by authorised tenants, cultivators and mirasdars recorded before January 1, 2011, after payment of a prescribed amount fixed by authorities. The proposal also covers residential and commercial properties built on Devasthan lands, including houses and shops. Hello @CMOMaharashtra SAVE MAHA TEMPLES Devasthan lands fund daily nitya puja, grand annual rath yatras, annachhatras, and the maintenance of ancient heritage architecture. Stripping temples of these lands threatens their very survival.

SAVE MAHA TEMPLES प्रस्तावित महाराष्ट्र देवस्थान इनाम निर्मूलन विधेयक २०२६ कायद्याने मंदिरांच्या अतिक्रमित जमिनी परत मिळवण्याला प्राधान्य द्यायला हवे होते. परंतु, हा मसुदा देवतेचे मालक म्हणून असलेले अस्तित्वच पूर्णपणे संपवण्याच्या गृहीतकावर आधारित आहे.

BJP government under Modi should order Fadnavis to take back Maharashtra Devasthanam inam abolition draft act 2026 immediately. Otherwise all hindus should hehmently oppose Fadnavis in Mumbai.
