Over the moon to see the course take a big jump in the rankings for the second year in a row. Really proud of what the team have produced, with the journey to raise the standards at Hayling with everything we do.
We're thrilled to be ranked the 44th best course in England by @top100golf, climbing 11 places in the process!
It's the biggest rise of any club in the Top 50, a testament to Graeme and his team's hard work on the course and the office's dedication off it to elevate our links.

Last projects completed this week. After 8 years of unsightly portaloos, the new toilets have been installed and styled to match the characteristics of the links.
Behind the range tee the worn shabby turf has been replaced with sleeper walls, meandering paths and fescue mounds

The final part of the work on the 8th (Crater) as we create a sandscrape within the dunes that separates the fairway and greens complex. Some of my favourite time is spent in the excavator and it’s been like that since I first used one as a kid.

2 of 3 changes to the 8th hole complete in time for Christmas. Removing the fairway pot bunker in exchange for a naturalised bunkers. The granite path between the fairway and approach has been stripped & replaced with a more rustic sleeper path meandering through the dunes

Our first visit to @Haylinggolfclub this week and it blew our socks off.
Remarkably firm surfaces thanks to the shingle beach below, endlessly engaging Tom Simpson holes, and immaculate presentation from @GJRobertsTurf and his team.
One thought was echoed throughout the round - big Rye vibes in the dunescape, routing, the winter conditioning and the odd pillbox.
Definitely won’t wait long before returning.

A first at Hayling as we installed @EcoBunkerLtd to replace our practice bunker. Ideal alternative for its location and frequency of use. Finishing touches around it next week. Finished up the week adding a bout marker setup to our Vicon for its first outing next week.

First bunker of the winter. A rebuild sooner than we’d like but necessary. Something so incredibly satisfying about a good recent bunker build. Fortunate to have a great team with a great eye for detail for these projects.

Took a quiet evening to myself to have a drive around the course at sunset. It’s amazing to see the difference in the land during this golden hour compared to the one we in the industry see at the start of every day.

Hard to believe how green we are after this summer! Really pleased with the recovery. Cracking on with Fairway overseed with a double pass of J-Sustain Fescue on semi & fairways. Getting on the gorse clearance, removing a large amount between 5/6/15 to open the area out
ALT The area right of 15 green was a solid section of gorse. Now opened up to promote Heather/ Lichen and native grass regeneration
ALT Removed encroaching gorse around the 5th tee and carry to expose more subtle topography.
