Under Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), more commissioned officers have been slaughtered. We lost: 1. Brigadier General Musa Uba. 2. Major General Abubakar Rabe (rtd). 3. Brig. Gen. Oseni Omoh (O.O.) Braimah. 4. Lt. Col. S.I. Iliyasu (March 2026). 5. Lt. Col. Umar Farouq (March 9, 2026). 6. Col. Aliyu Saidu Paiko. (October 2025). 7. Lt. Col. Umar Ibrahim Mairiga, (Mar 1, 2026). Nigeria lost more โ€œcommissionedโ€ army officers under Tinubu than under Buhari & Jonathan combined. The calamity that befell the Nigerian Army in 3 years is unimaginable. We lost multiple camp commanders (including a Major in Damasak & others in Monguno). They fell to attacks, others fell to IEDs. These are twenty, twenty-five, thirty & thirty-five years of active service wasted. They died so that politicians can soirรฉe & party hard. THE HEROES OF NIGERIA ARE NO MORE! ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Together Towards the New Nigeria That Is Possible On this June 12, Democracy Day, I had useful meetings with my partners in the building of the New Nigeria that is Possible: our great partyโ€™s National Leader, H.E. Senator Seriake Dickson, and our partyโ€™s Vice Presidential candidate, H.E. Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso. The NDC, as a party that is barely four months old, despite the challenges, remains the party of the future, and the fruitful discussions at the meetings clearly underscore this fact. The leaders and members of a committed political family must be willing to make sacrifices and show tolerance and accommodation, even in difficult circumstances. This shared understanding is essential for building trust, strengthening unity, and sustaining the vision we collectively hold for national transformation. We are all committed to this goal. The NDC remains the vehicle that will convey Nigeria through purposeful, compassionate leadership, with firm commitment to productivity and democratic ideals towards the New Nigeria that is POssible. -PO

No matter how big the mess we are in under Tinubu is, it all started under Buhari. We need a totally different people, party, ideology and mindset to get Nigeria out of this mess. We need Peter Obi.

Gentlemen, when someone misbehaves, do not react so angrily that your response overshadows the initial misbehaviour and now becomes the issue. Donโ€™t end up being the one needing to apologise when you were initially the victim of bad behaviour. Be clear that you will not accept or tolerate the misbehaviour, but be measured in how you express your disapproval. This is especially important when you are in a position of authority over the other person. It is also especially important in your relationship with your woman. I am Ezemmuo. I know things.

This evening, it was a pleasure to receive His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and senior officials of the NDC at my residence, where they were welcomed by me and some members of the National Working Committee. The meeting was part of my ongoing mediatory efforts aimed at ensuring that our party officials in Kano state and the leader of the party in the state, who is also our Vice Presidential candidate, remain on the same page at this critical moment in the life of our party. The NDC is fast emerging as the leading opposition party in Nigeria, and as with every growing political movement, disagreements and clashes of interest are inevitable. We are accustomed to managing such challenges through dialogue, consultation, and reconciliation. That is what I have been doing, not only in Kano State but across the nation for the past months. At no time have we imposed candidates on any state, not even in my home state of Bayelsa. We have consistently allowed democratic processes to play themselves out, despite the imperfections and difficulties that naturally arise. We had fruitful deliberations, and I am confident that, with goodwill and our collective commitment, all parties will continue to work together harmoniously as we pursue victory for our party and its candidates. His Excellency Senator Kwankwaso and I share a long history of collaboration dating back to our days in the PDP, when we both served as governors, and continuing to the present day. Over the years, we have maintained a close relationship, regularly visiting one another, sharing confidences, discussing national issues, and planning political engagements. We look forward to continuing this partnership in the interest of the NDC and the nation. The Kwankwasiyya Movement, the Obidient Movement and other support groups remain valuable mobilization networks. I had earlier recieved a courtesy delegation some weeks ago by the Obidient Movement and promised to ensure their integration into the activities of our party at various levels across the country; and the same for the Kwankwasiyya movement which I have asked for their list of coordinators to be forwarded to the party for the same purpose. This process will be undertaken in a structured and orderly manner. Everyone is welcome in the NDC, and we deeply appreciate the support, commitment, and participation of all our members, stakeholders, support groups, and volunteers. We remain committed to working with all who share our vision while continuing to build the NDC as a strong, disciplined, and enduring political institution bigger than any of its members. ~HSD

Exponential increase in revenue with excessive borrowing: Yet more hardship for Nigerians! In celebrating three years of his administration, President Bola Tinubu included, among his achievements, an increase in revenue from N16.8 trillion in 2022 to N35 trillion in 2025. An increase of over 100%. Shockingly, while Nigerians expected a reduction in borrowing with the exponential increase in revenue, the opposite is the case. In just three years, President Bola Tinubuโ€™s government seems to be obsessed with excessive and imprudent borrowing, with our total debt currently about N200 trillionโ€”a deeply disturbing increase of over N100 trillion. In addition to the exponential increases in both revenue and debt, it is also important to note that Nigeria has earned far more than the budget revenue targets due to global and regional geoeconomic and political tensions. Alarmingly, even with the astronomical increase in both revenue and debt, almost all key socio-economic and governance indicators are worse than in 2023. Multi-dimensional poverty has increased from 87 million people in 2023 to over 140 million people in 2025. Rapidly increasing unemployment and a decline in GDP per capita from $1,597 in 2023 to $1,223 in 2025, and the list goes on. Just more and more hardship for Nigerians! The question Nigerians and even the international community are asking is, โ€œWhere did all the money go?โ€ Nigerians deserve a detailed and transparent explanation of what happened to our economy and financial resources since 2023, and a stop to the imprudent, unaccountable, and opaque management of our common patrimony. A new and productive Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO
