Today, Herre de Vries and Jantien Meijer set off on an incredible challenge: cycling from Amsterdam to Lviv 🚴♂️🚴♀️🇺🇦
Their fundraising campaign has already raised more than €21,000 for De Leeuw Kyiv, an amazing achievement even before the journey has begun! And of course, you can still support their effort with a donation.
Earlier this week, Herre welcomed a group of Ukrainian cycling friends to Rotterdam after they completed the route in the opposite direction. Despite the pouring rain, they received a warm welcome and were presented with a flag signed by many supporters.
Yesterday, I (Noud) had the opportunity to add my signature as well. Herre and Jantien will now take this special flag back to Ukraine as a symbol of solidarity, friendship, and support. 💙💛

🇩🇪 🇺🇸 A German model has been missing for 11 years, and the Epstein files just gave her family their first trace of her...
The woman, identified only as Michele, vanished from her family home in 2015 at age 22 and has never been heard from since.
When the DOJ released the Epstein files, her name surfaced in messages from Daniel Siad, a model recruiter she worked for in Dubai, who sent Epstein her photo in 2014 and pitched her as "the girl you missed from Germany," adding "you will love her."
Her story is grim even before the files.
Her father says she admitted working for Siad as an escort, an ex-partner described constant abusive calls, and she'd been planning rehab and a fresh start with her family when she disappeared without warning.
Siad is now under investigation in France for allegedly helping Epstein traffic and abuse women, which he denies.
There's no proof Michele ever met Epstein.
Her father's plea:
"It's so important to us that we find her again, no matter the situation."
A girl pitched to Epstein in 2014. Gone in 2015.
Eleven years of silence since.

The Washington National Opera has filed a lawsuit demanding the return of more than $17 million, adding yet another chapter to what has become one of the most chaotic and self-inflicted culture-war disasters of Trump's presidency.

NEW | Recent statements by Iranian and US officials suggest that Iran and the United States are still at odds over the Strait of Hormuz. The United States has repeatedly clarified that its position is that Iran cannot control or charge fees or tolls in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran will seek to levy fees on traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and administer the strait.
A US official speaking to Reuters said that the deal meets Trump’s “core objectives” and that Iran would “open” the strait in return for the US releasing frozen Iranian assets and waiving sanctions on oil exports.
Trump previously rejected a plan under which Oman and Iran would charge a joint toll for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. It is unclear how a toll differs from a fee, and Iranian management of an international waterway would represent a major change in long-established maritime legal precedent.
