As technology evolves rapidly, policing must keep pace to stay effective and maintain public trust. Law enforcement needs to be quick, transparent, and accessible. Hence, strengthening and updating digital capabilities play a critical role in bridging the gap between citizen expectations and operational realities. At @EY_India, we are privileged to have partnered with @PoliceRajasthan since 2017 on this transformation journey, supporting the State through the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) and a broader policing technology ecosystem anchored in continuous modernisation and future readiness. Our teams support the enhancement, operations and maintenance of core policing platforms including CCTNS, police portals, mobile apps, analytics dashboards, and integrations across the criminal justice ecosystem − Prosecution, Forensic Science Laboratories (FSLs), Jails and Courts via Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS). Alongside this, we continue to drive architecture reviews, technology upgrades, and capacity building of the police’s internal technical teams. This year marked a key milestone with the launch of the Cyber e-FIR system for high-value cyber fraud cases and the e-Visitor system for digital visitor registration across accommodation providers (hotels, resorts, homestays, etc.). The e-Visitor system enables hotels and lodging facilities to record guest details online in a standardised format and share them directly with the police in real time, replacing manual registers and paper submissions. This enhances the accuracy, availability, and timely access of visitor information for monitoring and investigation. Together, the Cyber e-FIR and e-Visitor platforms enable faster reporting and response, improve data accuracy and traceability, and strengthen overall public safety and compliance. Both initiatives were launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The SOS emergency response service on the RajCop Citizen app, integrated with the Abhay Command Centre, has processed 43,000 distress requests, improving response and public safety outcomes. Rajasthan Police is also among the pioneer states implementing automated FIR classification, enabled by the digitisation of 14,000 legal acts. AI-led capabilities such as FIR summarisation, intelligent search, entity extraction, and case diary automation are further enhancing policing effectiveness. These initiatives are delivering measurable outcomes at scale, supported by widely adopted mobile applications − RajCop Official and RajCop Citizen − with over 20 lakh downloads. Proud to contribute to a future of policing that is intelligent, integrated and citizen-first. @sbansal_in, @RisDelhi #BetterWorkingWorld #PublicSafety #DigitalPolicing #GovernmentTransformation #TechnologyForGood #AIinGovernment

Tuesday calls for a Tourism Transformation Tale! Over the past few years, @EY_India has had the privilege of partnering with the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha as its Project Management Unit − working closely across policy development, investment facilitation, infrastructure planning, branding, and tourism product development. When we began, Odisha held immense, yet underleveraged potential. The opportunity was clear: strengthen policy frameworks, crowd in private investment, and position the state more prominently on the global tourism map. Our approach has been anchored in end-to-end transformation − from shaping the Odisha Tourism Policy 2022 (and its subsequent refinements), to enabling 206 private sector projects across hotels, resorts, eco-lodges, and water parks, unlocking investments of over INR 10,000 crore. In addition, the team has delivered more than 15 integrated destination master plans and structured Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks, enabling the entry of global hospitality brands such as Radisson Hotel Group and Mayfair Hotels & Resorts into underutilized government assets. Equally important has been the focus on experience-led tourism. Initiatives such as Eco Retreat Odisha, Caravan Tourism, Odisha Walks, Boat Races, and Adventure Sports reflect a shift from destination marketing to experiential storytelling. We also provided end-to-end creative and branding support, helping shape Odisha Tourism’s identity − “India’s Best Kept Secret.” The results are encouraging − Odisha’s rising rankings in national tourism indices and a growing digital footprint signal a state on the move. Odisha ranked among the Top 6 Best Performing Big States in Tourism (India Today Survey 2022) and 8th in India for effective social media outreach (Hotelivate Survey Report 2024). What stands out most, however, is the power of sustained, collaborative partnership. This journey reinforces a core belief: when governments and advisors work together with a long-term vision, tourism can become a powerful engine for economic growth, investment, and regional development. Proud to be part of Odisha’s transformation journey and excited about what lies ahead! @MitrabhanuC #TourismTransformation #OdishaTourism #PublicPrivatePartnerships #EconomicGrowth #BetterWorkingWorld #ViksitOdisha

India’s regional connectivity story is entering a transformative new chapter. The Union Cabinet’s approval of the Modified UDAN / UDAN 2.0 scheme, backed by an investment of ₹28,840 crore, marks one of the most ambitious pushes yet toward democratizing air travel and strengthening India’s economic backbone. With the development of 100 new airports, 200 modern helipads, and substantial support for airport infrastructure and airline operations, the vision is clear: connect underserved regions, unlock local economic potential, and enable inclusive growth. What stands out in this decision is not just the scale of investment, but the strategic intent behind it. The provision of dedicated operational support – such as up to ₹3 crore annually for airport maintenance – signals a strong, long‑term commitment to making regional routes more viable, sustainable, and future‑ready. This would also help address a key constraint around availability of airport infrastructure which impacts airline interest and affects reliability of services. Why Regional Air Connectivity Matters? Lessons from Developed Economies: Countries that scaled rapidly – the United States, Japan, and members of the EU – have shown that robust regional air networks are catalysts for growth: ➡️ In the United States, the Essential Air Service (EAS) program ensures small cities remain connected, driving local job creation and business continuity. ➡️ Japan’s regional airport networks helped integrate remote prefectures into national supply chains and tourism circuits, boosting domestic mobility. ➡️ Regional air networks in the European Union have long boosted worker mobility, supported small and medium-sized enterprises, and enabled smoother trade across borders. The message is consistent: Strong regional air connectivity is not just transportation policy – it is economic policy. It enhances productivity, invites private investment, strengthens supply chains, and creates equitable access to healthcare, education, and opportunities, thus creating a multiplier effect in the economy. What This Means for India? The Modified UDAN scheme will help: ✅ Unlock Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 economic hubs ✅ Boost tourism, logistics, and trade ✅ Improve last-mile access for remote and hilly regions ✅ Enhance emergency response and medical access ✅ Create jobs across aviation, hospitality, and allied sectors ✅ Strengthen India’s aspiration of becoming a multi‑hub global economic powerhouse As India moves toward becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047, initiatives like UDAN 2.0 are more than infrastructure investments – they are nation-building enablers. #UDAN2_0 #RegionalConnectivity #AviationReforms #InfrastructureDevelopment #EconomicGrowth #ViksitBharat #BuildingABetterWorkingWorld #ShapeTheFutureWithConfidence

Wow — Mantra for Life!
Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada spoke about the contradictions of human nature: “Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one hardly ever use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about their living relatives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have one often don't appreciate it. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the satiated complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one.” The key to happiness is gratitude: truly seeing and appreciating what we already have, and understanding that somewhere, someone would give anything for what we take for granted.

Simply awesome. What a man, what a fighter, and what an actor!
Chuck Norris held a 183-10-2 record and was a 6x world champion in full contact bare knuckle karate. On top of that, he beat heavyweight kickboxing world champion Joe Lewis 3 consecutive times and also had a brutal sparring match with undefeated kickboxing world champion, Bill Superfoot Wallace, that lasted an hour and a half. According to Wallace, they practically stalemated and "beat the crap out of each other". Chuck was trained in kickboxing/boxing by Benny The Jet Urquidez and was also trained in BJJ by the Gracies and Machados for 20 years. Even being able to submit Carlos Machado himself on occasion. Chuck had a 315 Ibs bench press at 180 lbs bodyweight and was said to have a grip back in the day that nobody could escape from because he was so strong. Even Jean Claude Van Damme said he'd never fight Chuck Norris, despite being a kickboxing world champion himself. Chuck held a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Judo. Rest in peace, Chuck!

India has successfully moved from food scarcity to food security. But is this enough? Persistent challenges such as micronutrient deficiencies, protein inadequacy, and lifestyle‑related disorders continue to affect the population, requiring a shift from quantity to quality. The next frontier, therefore, is nutrition security. The focus must now be on ensuring safe, nutritious, high‑quality food for all. To achieve this, the food processing industry will play a crucial role in delivering trusted products to consumers and strengthening India’s overall nutrition ecosystem. At ASSOCHAM’s National Conference – NutriBharat 2026, the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Shri Chirag Paswan, delivered a clear message: the food processing industry is central to enabling nutrition security and strengthening India’s nutrition ecosystem. The conference brought together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, researchers, and global organizations to discuss innovation, regulatory frameworks, research collaboration, and global opportunities for India’s nutraceutical and functional food sector. A joint report titled “NutriBharat@2047 – India’s Nutritional Transition through Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods”, prepared by @EY_India and @ASSOCHAM4India, was released at the conference. The report outlines strategic pathways to strengthen policy frameworks, foster research‑driven innovation, enhance regulatory clarity, and promote public‑private partnerships – so that nutraceuticals and functional foods become integral to India’s nutrition strategy. It also highlights opportunities for coordinated innovation, policy alignment, and collaboration across stakeholders. I extend my sincere appreciation to the team behind this report – @amitvatsyayan , #AmitBajaj, #TanayJoshi, #EkantVijay, #RupakshiMathur, #SophiaSJoseph, and #VaibhavTomar. Kudos to the entire team, and I look forward to more such compelling work in the future. @EY_India remains committed to advancing nationally important themes – bringing meaningful insights, innovation, out‑of‑the‑box thinking, and cross‑sector collaboration to support India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. 👉 Do take a moment to go through the report for deeper insights - shorturl.at/qxJNh #NutritionSecurity #FoodProcessingIndustry #Nutraceuticals #HealthyIndia #ViksitBharat2047 #EYIndia #BetterWorkingWorld
