Context is needed. The image is from a segment in their show where pressing a red button intentionally makes the drawings resemble AI-generated images. In the same interview, they explicitly stated that they do not plan to use AI in their work.

I was lucky enough to do the art for our Jamie interview, as well as transcribe Cass' interview, among other stuff. There's some lore in this zine that's wicked - Jamie drops hints about PB's return during Song Machine, great insights from Cass, crazy stuff like that

Random piece of lore, in 2018 me and my friend started a rumor that 2D from Gorillaz died and for a few hours some gorillaz fans were in genuine hysterics. I still don’t get how people bought this. It was a fun day. Someone updated his wikipedia page too. Jamie had to step in😭😭

Demoz EP from 2021 so incredibly underrated. It makes my ears so happy to hear old-skool creepy grungey Gorillaz again. Tho, I really wish it had an Actually Good album cover wasn't exclusive to that box set
