Only fair I give credit to ITV for going to America for their World Cup coverage, and paying top dollar for the very best place for a studio. Got a few DMs asking about César Peixoto’s high press, so I pulled out some plays from this season (mostly vs Benfica and Sporting). César has shown he can seamlessly switch between a well-organised mid-block and an aggressive (PSG-style) high press depending on the game context.

I liked Will Goodwin at Cheltenham @MaxLewis070. Managed to score six goals in half a season for a side that was very dry on creativity; he brought great industry and was a major threat from crosses. Slightly concerned that since his injury he may have lost some of his mobility, so a vigorous pre-season with a bit of Ainsworth motivation sprinkled in will be key. Happen to know on this occasion there genuinely were other League Two club(s) interested, that wasn't just agent spin. Happy to endorse this one, subject to signs that he can rediscover full fitness. #Gills 🔵⚫️
