Ireland and it's people are not anti Semitic. They do have a problem with invasion, occupation, forced famine and genocide.

Immigration is a good thing and we must play our part providing a safe home for refugees. This is best done through Irish Unity so we can take an all-Ireland approach without interference from Britain. One policy, one island, one country. @IrelandsFuture @irishborderpoll

These are the real #Belfast people. Not the anti immigrant, anti Irish, loyalist thugs who burned innocent people of colour out of their homes last week, egged on by #Musk, Tommy Robinson and other extremists. These are the decent Catholic and Protestant majority of citizens.

Regarding the racist anti immigrant violence in Belfast this week, would it be possible to deport the anti Irish loyalist thugs to Britain where their ancestors cane from, and replace them with decent immigrants who value our Irish culture and who try their best to assimilate?

For the avoidance of doubt. The so-called "patriots" in Dublin rallying in solidarity with racist Brit Loyalists in the North of Ireland, are the same old BlueShirt supporting fascists whose grandparents betrayed the republic in 1922. Despicable then & now x.com/i/status/2065456535937โ€ฆ

Great turnout in Ionad Eileen Howell from community groups from all parts of Belfast to discuss the racist attacks of recent days. Many of those present have been out reassuring people from our ethnic communities & providing support to them. Taking a stand against racism

Letโ€™s not fall for the lies about the North of Ireland. These racist pogroms are taking place largely in loyalist areas and are being driven by reactionary elements of the British settler community. They have inherited the same racist and reactionary politics that have long been used to divide working people. The ruling class has always needed immigration to keep the economy functioning, while simultaneously demonising migrants to create competition and resentment within the working class. The goal is simple: ensure that peopleโ€™s anger is directed downwards or sideways at those with less power, rather than upwards at those who hold it. Even these numbwits are not dumb enough to blame a whole community for the actions of one man. They are just using it as an excuse to act out all of their racist fantasies that are inherent in all settler colonial communities.

Worth reading. Some very powerful people and far right forces helped drive the attempted race pogroms in Belfast and encouraged the ethnic hate riots by loyalists. The same sinister, fascist forces are behind the idiot anti immigrant "patriots" in Dublin. axios.com/2026/06/11/elon-muโ€ฆ

American & British far-right racists are posting "I stand with the Irish" on SM today, in support of the house burning thugs of the DUP/UDA who have been terrorizing Belfast communities this past 24 hours. These fascists are not self-identified Irish. They hate all things Irish.

@b_judah this recent opinion poll showed 63% support for NI becoming part of a United Ireland in the EU thejournal.ie/all-ireland-poโ€ฆ it was undertaken by @LucidTalk which has accurately predicted multiple election outcomes and EU ref vote in NI.
Northern Ireland polls higher support for the Union than in Scotland: โ€œThe polling from the Institute of Irish Studies this year found that 61.4% of respondents would vote to remain in the UK.โ€ One can imagine, with some skill and luck in Westminster, how by the 2030s the narrative might have flipped from โ€œhave you read Tom Nairnโ€ into surprising resilience of the Union despite the difficult early years of the 21st century. Though I must admit this all truly feels quite uncertain to me.

"The historic change unfolding in Ireland was front and centre of conversations. With more and more people at home looking to a future beyond the Union, there is growing interest in what comes next." - Sinn Fรฉin First Minister Michelle O'Neill on US visit
I have spent the last few days in the United States meeting political and business leaders, trade unions, and the Irish diaspora. It was an invaluable opportunity to showcase the very best of our people and island, and to make the case for greater investment, creating more well-paid jobs and building a better future for people at home. The historic change unfolding in Ireland was front and centre of conversations. With more and more people at home looking to a future beyond the Union, there is growing interest in what comes next. There is a new chapter being written. A future where all our people take control of their own affairs and destiny, and together shape a united Ireland that betters the lives of everyone who calls this island home.

The need to defend the provisions of the GFA has never been more critical. The SDLP leader now advances an updated version of the Unionist veto. Those of us who campaigned for "one man one vote" will not support a Unionist vote having more value than a republican vote. 50% 1.
SDLP leader Claire Hanna has poured cold water on a border poll happening any time soon, saying she doesnโ€™t want a united Ireland โ€œslipping past by a tiny majority during a period of chaosโ€. Read more: tinyurl.com/nhdyhz9d
