Somto Patrick Onoduenyi C/O 29’ (Modesto Christian, Modesto CA) is on the “up and coming” radar after a great showing at @pangosaacamp 🏀 The 6’9” power forward who just had his 16th birthday turned heads with his physical power play in the paint against older competition. Somto looked good in the pick and roll game and was a monster on the boards leading the camp with 9 rebounds/game. His game also had a nice looking shot and showed he can play with his back to the basket, facing up and shooting over the defender. His size and athleticism makes him a scoring threat as he averaged over 13 points/game in 4 camp games. He also collected 2 blocks per game and was selected to the Top 30 game. At 16 and an incoming sophomore this fall, his upside is huge as we can expect him to grow taller and stronger over the next few years.
