Following the progress of these early technical previews from @Morgerion is genuinely exciting: Meet Shaterfall! ☄️ #MadeWithDefold 🧡💙 There’s already something special in the atmosphere, style, and total destruction in this stunning-looking RPG, and it’s still only early days! We’ll be watching this one with great interest! 👀 #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #indiegame #pcgaming

Indie devs @luden_io took an algorithm-aware approach to @itchio and kept their game on the front page for an entire month. Here's how they did it: 80.lv/articles/how-this-indi…

Meet us in Amsterdam this Wednesday, April 22! 🗓️ After visiting Poki HQ, we’d love to invite game developers for an informal after-work meetup. Join us at Bierfabriek Amsterdam, Nes 67, 1012 KD Amsterdam, from 18:00 to 20:00 local time. We’ll bring some Defold swag for everyone who stops by, and we’ll be covering the tab 🎁 If you’re in the area, come say hello - we’d be happy to meet you! 👋

It’s so easy to promote visuals-first games. You show it, and if it’s stylish and beautiful, people fall in love. I’ve always found it harder to promote the other kind of games, projects where you really need to try them before you even know if you want the full thing.

"If you want something explained, do it yourself." So we did. Here's our explainer – no hype, just gameplay. Chunks, flags, robots, evil bots. Watch it. Then wishlist. Or just enjoy the screenshots. Whatever works. 😌 store.steampowered.com/app/3… #ScreenshotSaturday #indiegame #gamedev #steam

We’re deep into co-op development for SuperWEIRD, and it’s been a wild ride At first we thought “just add multiplayer” would be enough… turns out it wasn’t. Not even close.

It's #TrailerTuesday, and we're bringing back trailer for SuperWEIRD. A lot has changed since this first made, but the soul of the game is still the same: building the world with chunks, commanding junkbots, and fighting the slime with Adventure Time vibes. Sneak peek: new robots incoming. And every robot needs a pet... So here's RoboDog. Loyal. Weird. Probably breaks flags. But he's a very good boy! store.steampowered.com/app/3… #indiegame #gamedev #SuperWEIRD #madewithdefold

1/3 The Cursor Meetup in Limassol was full of curiosity about building things! Love the community and can’t wait for the second one. Thanks @cursor and @benln! A few takeaways:

2/3 - Pokémon-like game where each child creature is visually generated from its parents is super fun to play. - Onboarding new teams to an LLM-based setup isn’t always easy, but taking the first steps with systems like n8n helps a lot. Once they outgrow n8n, they’re ready.

3/3 - Cursor Code Reviews and Automations are incredibly helpful and could be applied beyond code - to spec reviews, design doc reviews, product strategy reviews, and more.
