Absolutely bloody bonkers , just seen a commis chef position advertised 29k a year . Just goes to show the state of this industry to be needing to offer that kind of salary for 1 of the most junior positions in a kitchen

There are some ridiculous salaries being thrown around for head chef positions right now but you have to ask yourself is it worth it . Much better imo to work for a great employer than to be that mercenaries and end up hating what you do
