I’ve been testing Kimi with Local SEO Skills for audits and strategies with not much difference in outputs vs Claude.

It's interesting ChatGPT is creating Google Business Profile like panels when showing local provider results, but picking and choosing data sources to display. The common notion is that ChatGPT pulls from Bing Places and Yelp for reviews, but in this case of upper east side dermatologists, its ratings and stars are from RealSelf, not Yelp. I verified this by visiting the providers profiles across the web. The only 4.8 star profile? RealSelf. They also used the Yelp images in the providers side panel, not the Bing Places image shown in map view. So Bing used for avatar image and details, Yelp for additional images, reviews from RealSelf. Something to consider when you are thinking about your review strategies and what sources AI is actually pulling from today. Then again it'll probably be different tomorrow.

Most SEO efforts don't require autonomous agents. Crons work perfectly well.

A site we launched recently got 90 sign-ups in a month. No search traffic. No email blasts. No word of mouth (we didn’t tell anyone). How is that possible? The visitors have changed. Not all of them are human anymore. Agents are here. But are you optimized for them?

Google reviews has fallen. Can’t trust them anymore. No hamburger restaurant with two neon OPEN signs and multiple locations has 4.9 and 3,780 reviews in 2026

We spent millions on an office: a 500 gallon fish tank, a gym, espresso machines, a garden room. People asked why in the remote era. The logic is simple. If the office is nicer than your house, you want to come in. Most of the team is here a few days a week now, nobody forced.

My work is interesting. One moment I’m chopping it up with an agency owner about AI enablement The next my brother is calling me to see if I can drive home a new purchase 😂

"Sir, the LSAs aren't working because Google has 48 different advertisers in our market, but only 2 spots at the top of the page, and one advertiser has been in spot 1 every time we checked the last 11 weeks."

One of my favorite clients ever did this in every meeting...except he'd awake at periods and chime in as if he wasn't sleeping the whole time.
I was once pitching in a board room at a top 3 VC firm for a $15M Series A. 12 people in the meeting. One of the GPs fully fell asleep. Out cold for 30 minutes. Nobody acknowledged it. Everyone just kept going. I kept presenting my Series A slides to an unconscious man in a Herman Miller chair and somehow that was considered normal. That's venture capital. You might fly across the country to perform for people who may or may not be conscious. It's a dance. And sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow and sometimes your partner is unconscious. If you're raising right now, just know: every founder has a story like this. The process is weird. The power dynamic is weird. You're not crazy for thinking it's weird. No one talks about it because they want to continue raising. But I'm happy to stick my neck out there. It is weird.

Their unclaimed GBP must have tipped authorities off
NEW: $45 million worth of cocaine seized after an underground tunnel between Mexico and San Diego, CA was discovered under a Buy 4 Less store. Investigators say they surveilled the store for months after noticing how little customer foot traffic it had. Authorities found a nearly 2000-foot-long tunnel that was 55 feet deep and 4.5 feet high with electricity and ventilation. 2270 pounds of coke was seized from the store, and four people were arrested. Gregorio Epifanio Hernandez Lopez, 29, Jose Jimenez, 32, Antonio Cortez, 18, and Brandon Escalante Sandoval, 26, were arrested. They all face a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $10 million fine. "They thought they saw the light at the end of the tunnel. In fact, what they saw were our lights and sirens," said U.S. Attorney Adam Gordon.

Google is turning your GBP from a static directory listing into a live data interface. Google wants: → Your products (structured, synced, current) → Your menu (extracted, categorized, searchable) → Your inventory (real-time from your POS) → Your posts (fresh, scheduled, recurring) → Your reviews (organic, unmanipulated, content-rich) And they want it all formatted in ways their AI can consume.
