Day 2 of our clinical trial of IVwatch in the IVAS infusion unit. I was very impressed that the technology prevented 3 extravasations. I am excited to collect data over the next 2 weeks and write it up. 1st UK hospital to trial the technology. @FrimleyHealth

This is quite terrible. This extravasation was initially dismissed only to result in the patient getting their arm amputated. ivWatch should be a standard of care with the administration of these types of drugs.

Great stuff. I love CHKD. They have people there that recognize the problems with IVs and won't stop until they are minimized.
Today, we had a full house at our local, leading children's hospital in Norfolk, VA. ivWatch clinical experts were on-site offering continuing education, partnering to improve IV safety.

100% completely wrong answer from ChatGPT with regards to med question. I fear this thing is doing nothing more than gathering misinformation and putting proper grammar around it making it more believable. Whatever the "group think", that's the answer... right or wrong.

As a side, there is not any IV pump on the planet that has regulatory clearance (FDA or any other global body) that allows the marketing of pressure alarms as detecting infiltrations. Why? Because it's not true. Where did ChatGPT get information to the contrary?

Flew last wk to Boston. People have always been courteous to me when I wear an N95. This was the first time some mid-30's clown looked at me and called me a nerd. I chuckled... I'm 60 years old. Nerdism has served me well and I didn't get ill.
