Excited to see the outcomes of this study when finished. Always a win for patients when extravasations are detected early.
Day 2 of our clinical trial of IVwatch in the IVAS infusion unit. I was very impressed that the technology prevented 3 extravasations. I am excited to collect data over the next 2 weeks and write it up. 1st UK hospital to trial the technology. @FrimleyHealth

This is quite terrible. This extravasation was initially dismissed only to result in the patient getting their arm amputated. ivWatch should be a standard of care with the administration of these types of drugs. The images in this paper are graphic: cureus.com/articles/166831-c…

ivWatch is excited to be a part of a global event this week in Toronto! Come by the ivWatch booth and speak with our leadership at this year’s CVAA and WoCoVA event on April 26 & 27 and learn how patient monitoring is used to detect IV infiltration events at their earliest stage.

Great stuff. I love CHKD. They have people there that recognize the problems with IVs and won't stop until they are minimized.

Today, we had a full house at our local, leading children's hospital in Norfolk, VA. ivWatch clinical experts were on-site offering continuing education, partnering to improve IV safety.

"About 3,850 people died in traffic accidents in August 2022, according to federal data — about one-quarter of those estimated to have died of covid that month. The CDC says that 3,918 people died from covid in the last week of August alone." washingtonpost.com/health/20…

Members of our clinical team finishing up a real-world performance evaluation of @ivWatch in Houston. Always love working with hospitals serious about reducing patient harm due to IV complications.

FDA has discovered a failure of performance in Halyard's medical N95s and issued the following warning. Time to switch to a US-made surgical N95 respirator in your hospital: fda.gov/medical-devices/safe…

Got a surprise in the mail today... a book on the Blue Angels and my kid is in there... I need to let them know how many cars he's wrecked of mine growing up.

This has nothing to do with anything other than how thoughtful my wife of 30 years has been. Every year, she has an Easter basket waiting for me in the morning.

100% completely wrong answer from ChatGPT with regards to med question. I fear this thing is doing nothing more than gathering misinformation and putting proper grammar around it making it more believable. Whatever the "group think", that's the answer... right or wrong.

As a side, there is not any IV pump on the planet that has regulatory clearance (FDA or any other global body) that allows the marketing of pressure alarms as detecting infiltrations. Why? Because it's not true. Where did ChatGPT get information to the contrary?

Flew last wk to Boston. People have always been courteous to me when I wear an N95. This was the first time some mid-30's clown looked at me and called me a nerd. I chuckled... I'm 60 years old. Nerdism has served me well and I didn't get ill.
