And as usual no details, no dates, no routes, just another press release. They announced the Baltic station was delayed 6 months ago there's been no update since. The last statement about the bendy bus network that's supposedly launching in 2028 was a year ago!

The Transport for City Regions (TCR) funding will enable the Combined Authority to accelerate delivery of its vision for a transport system built to serve the needs of the region and its residents.
New railway stations, rapid transit links and smart ticketing across the entire network are among improvements to be delivered with the new funding, which will better connect communities, including major new housing developments, while boosting productivity, driving economic growth and unlocking regeneration.

If there had been any signs of improvement I would've given Slot another season to turn things around but those last 4 games were inexcusable. Nothing would have changed next season. Best decision all round to move on.
