Have been fortunate enough to make 8 trips to #CWS with @GatorsBB. For anyone in Omaha for first time, 3 places I visit each trip:
1. The Drover (have gained 4 pounds there over years)
2. Jackson Street Booksellers (many books from there)
3. Omaha Cigar Co. (nice place to unwind)
Broadcasting baseball across New England this summer… I’ve met quite a few sports media students from the University of Rhode Island. Every time I mention I’m a student at UF, the conversation quickly turns to @CoachReiss32. They ALL have mentioned how great of a coach she is and how well she treats student media.
Can’t wait to get back to Gainesville this fall and get to experience first-hand the type of impact she makes on a program.
The older I get, the more I realize the power of always having something on the calendar you're excited about. It can really be anything. Difficult physical challenge, big project, fun trip, ambitious goal, whatever. It creates energy and gets you through the lows. Life hack.
#Gators HC Jon Sumrall has been on the job for six months and is winning the offseason by a rout. AD Scott Stricklin has seen a coach doing what he said he would: floridagators.com/news/2026/…
Royals have been a big disappointment early in season, but feels like Cags starting to figure some things out ... (.261, 8 HR, 18 RBI), a 1.1 WAR in 61 games
Hate seeing @DaveHydeSports going out this way. I've thought a lot about how a lot of the big cities don't have defining voices like they used to—the folks you had to read or listen to whenever something happened with one of your teams.
Hyde was that guy in Miami.
In light of the Brendan Sorsby decision, Georgia has instructed its coaches not to schedule Texas Tech in any sport.
People are really angry.
