A net-zero world would require 306 million tonnes of green hydrogen to be produced annually by 2050 - @IEA . This will require approximately 3,000GW of electrolysers and 6,000GW of renewable energy, based on current technology.
"The signing of agreements between Ireland and the UK this week provides a framework for the future."
🍃Co-operation on offshore wind and green hydrogen production
🤝Commitment to proportionally share gas supply cuts should they be required
