When Trump's name was put on the Kennedy Center in mid-December 2025—an action all involved knew was illegal—they used scissor lifts and did the whole job in 2-3 hours. But somehow—huh!—taking the name down is the most arduous, old-school-scaffolding, head-scratching task *ever*.
