Man City’s training mostly focuses on high pressing and build-up. Everything in between allows for a bit more freedom. The first 45-60 meters is quite structured initially. However, once in the opposition half, there is more freedom to exploit space.

You can have great data and make bad decisions.
Or you can use data brilliantly to tilt the balance from 50/50 to 70/30....and still lose because 3/10 is still quite a high probability of things going wrong.

Finally - Kiwior. Basic mistakes with management of the distance to the opponent and protection of the space. He allows the striker coming close and break the angle towards his path of movement, allowing striker to accelerate and change the direction to attack the space in front.
