Tennessee should be thoughtful and considerate when deciding where data centers are located. The proposed site near the Nashville Zoo is neither. Let's revisit this placement.

Nothing can separate usโ€ฆ not even the worst day or the hardest season. Love this verse. @VoteMarsha ๐Ÿ™Œ

โ€œNailed it @MichaelLotfi. Paper trillionaire from actual value creation vs. politicians casually spending $1T every 52 days. The hypocrisy writes itself.โ€
All these politicians yelling about @elonmusk becoming a "paper" trillionaire today (important distinction) like they wouldn't all blow through that $1T in literally 52 days. Does that number seem specific? It should- because that's exactly what DC politicians spend every single 52 days. Eat the rich? Nah, I'll eat the politicians thanks.

Iโ€™ve lived in DC many times and have never had a desire to drink out of the public fountains.
Replying to @NatlParkService
@NatlParkService @NationalMallNPS Can we get this water fountain fixed? 17th street at the Mall on east side. It never came back on after the winter and now itโ€™s pouring water from the bottom. Thank you!

Before you lock your vehicle and head inside, take a quick look in the back seat. As temperatures continue to rise, the Franklin Police Department reminds everyone to make it a habit to check for children, pets, and any belongings before leaving your vehicle. Even on days that don't feel extremely hot, temperatures inside a parked vehicle can climb rapidly and become dangerous. A simple glance in the back seat can make all the difference. Look before you lock.

Highly unusual for these soldiers to make this kind of public declaration. I'm sure DOD IG is all over this.
I didn't serve under Taylor, yet have no reason to doubt that he's unfit to wear the uniform. This story is a near universal common denominator for those selected to become generals. In today's system, most get there by playing political hardball and aggressively climbing over good people.

Franklin Police Officer Chris Doyle has earned his wings and officially joined the department's award-winning Motorcycle Unit. This morning, Doyle completed the rigorous two-week Police Motorcycle Operations School in Sumner County, where officers are challenged with advanced riding techniques, precision maneuvers, traffic enforcement skills and safe motorcycle operations. Following the course, Doyle was presented with the honorary Motor Wings pin by fellow motorcycle officer, Domenico Buffa. The wings pin is a longstanding symbol recognizing an officer's successful completion of specialized motorcycle training and membership within a police motor unit. Doyle has served with the Franklin Police Department since 2021. Prior to joining FPD, he spent three years as an officer with the NYPD. Congratulations!

The Franklin Police Department welcomed four new police officers Friday afternoon during a swearing-in ceremony at Police Headquarters. Police Chief Deb Faulkner administered the oath of office in front of family members, friends, and fellow officers. All four officers join the department as lateral hires, bringing prior law enforcement and public service experience to the Franklin Police Department. The newest members of the department are: Officer Matthew Feddeler: Feddeler was born and raised in Chicago and served eight years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Following his military service, he spent 22 years with the Tempe Police Department in Arizona, where he built an extensive career in law enforcement. Officer Brad Petty: Originally from Hickman County, Tennessee, Petty graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in wildlife biology. He spent the past seven years serving as a game warden with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. Officer Collin Richards: A Franklin native, Richards participated in the Franklin Police Departmentโ€™s Explorer Program in 2011 and 2012. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 2020 and later began his law enforcement career with the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2024. Officer Lawrence Shelton: Shelton is a Nashville native and graduate of McGavock High School. Prior to joining Franklin, he served nearly three years with the Tennessee State University Police Department. โ€œWe are excited to welcome these four experienced officers to the Franklin Police Department,โ€ said Faulkner. โ€œEach brings a unique background, valuable experience, and a commitment to public service that will strengthen our department and benefit the community we serve. We are proud they chose Franklin as the next chapter in their law enforcement careers.โ€ The addition of the four lateral officers reflects the departmentโ€™s continued efforts to recruit experienced, highly qualified professionals dedicated to serving one of Tennesseeโ€™s safest and most vibrant communities.
