PANGAEA is a program developed by @esa that has trained #astronauts in planetary geology skills since 2016. The seventh edition was completed in September 2024. The Department of Geosciences of @UniPadova is deeply involved in the training.

A study led by Omar Bartoli, @UniPadova, together with his colleague @BrunaBCarvalho1 and in collaboration with @goetheuni demonstrated the possibility of dating one of the most common minerals, garnet, despite the very low uranium concentrations.
